The Society welcomes applications from scientists who gained their PhDs no more than 10 years ago to apply for an Early Career Grant of up to £10,000. The grant may be used to purchase a specific piece of equipment, to cover short-term salary requirements or to carry out preliminary experiments for a new project, for example.

Applicants must be paid-up members of the Society and the grants are especially suited to trainee members. For full eligibility criteria and details of how to apply, click on the link below. The next deadline for applications is Monday 27 May 2013
