Discipline Hopping Grants

Discipline Hopping Grants have been developed to provide a great opportunity for new interdisciplinary research. The scheme is designed to encourage researchers to develop imaginative ways of using techniques or expertise from the physical sciences to tackle biological or medical related problems. This grant programme is run jointly by the MRC, BBSRC and EPSRC. It provides short-term (three months to a year) awards with the aim of fostering longer-term collaborations.
