Director of Research and Information, Stroke Association

The Stroke Association are recruiting for the post of Director of Research and Information. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO, be part of the Director’s Management Team, and work to position us as a research charity with evidence at the heart of its information and service to the public. It’s a challenge that will help to vastly improve the quality of stroke services.

The postholder will act as a spokesperson to the media, potential donors and other external stakeholders, liaise with and report to Trustees and raise awareness of our strategy in the most innovative ways possible, across the UK. The successful candidate will have a PhD in a scientific or medical subject and experience of developing and implementing strategies at a senior level with a good understanding of medical research processes and training.
