Diagnosing Addison's

The Addison's Disease Self Help Group has a new leaflet developed by their clinical advisory panel called 'Diagnosing Addison's'. Written for the GP, it describes the early signs of Addison's and advises GPs on how to screen patients for urgent/non-urgent referral to the endocrinologist. The leaflet complements our advisory panel's earlier GP leaflet, 'Caring for the Addison's patient', which outlined the role of the GP in providing regular care for the diagnosed patient, including their role in after-hours emergency care.
