Day 3 – ECE 2013 Programme highlights

28 Apr 2013

Day 3 promises to pick up where Day 2 left off, with a packed programme throughout the day.

The third Plenary Lecture of the congress is already underway with Maria Alevizaki (Greece) describing the changing character of thyroid cancer in the Main Hall.

At 09:20, the three oral communication sessions of the day take place on pituitary and molecular endocrinology (Auditorium 10/11), bone and calcium (Auditorium 12), and the thyroid (Auditorium 15).

Following the all-important poster sessions, 14:00 marks the start of the afternoon’s 8 symposia.

Starting proceedings in Auditorium 15 is the European Journal of Endocrinology-sponsored symposium on hormonal treatment in transition of patients with rare diseases.

The day’s second Plenary Lecture will run from 17:35 to 18:20 in the main hall, which will see the award of the Fondation Ipsen 2013 Endocrine Regulations Prize 2013 to Professor Bert O’Malley (USA).
