The third Plenary Lecture of the congress is already underway with Maria Alevizaki (Greece) describing the changing character of thyroid cancer in the Main Hall.
At 09:20, the three oral communication sessions of the day take place on pituitary and molecular endocrinology (Auditorium 10/11), bone and calcium (Auditorium 12), and the thyroid (Auditorium 15).
Following the all-important poster sessions, 14:00 marks the start of the afternoon’s 8 symposia.
Starting proceedings in Auditorium 15 is the European Journal of Endocrinology-sponsored symposium on hormonal treatment in transition of patients with rare diseases.
The day’s second Plenary Lecture will run from 17:35 to 18:20 in the main hall, which will see the award of the Fondation Ipsen 2013 Endocrine Regulations Prize 2013 to Professor Bert O’Malley (USA).
