ESPE is currently recruiting for several committee vacancies which give opportunities to get involved in some core ESPE activities and make a real difference to the education of paediatric endocrinologists world wide. 

Being a Committee member is very rewarding and an opportunity to make your mark on the future of Paediatric Endocrinology. It can also help to enhance and broaden your own skillset to further your career.

 

Syllabus Task Force member - deadline: 7 October

Applications are now invited from ESPE members to join a new short-term task force for 12-18 months from October 2019, with the purpose of updating the European Training Syllabus in Paediatric Endocrinology.  There are 2 vacancies available. More info

 

Winter School Corrdinator - deadline: 18 October

We are seeking applications from the ESPE membership for the position of Coordinator of the ESPE Winter School Steering Committee. The position is also a member of the Education & Training Committee. The three-year appointment will start in March 2020, following the 2020 Winter School in Moldova.

Applicants should have a wide knowledge of the published literature in paediatric endocrinology in general and detailed knowledge in more than one specific area. Applicants should ideally be a current or past member of the Winter School Steering Committee, but previous members of other ESPE School steering committees will be considered. More info

 

Programme Organising Committee member - deadline: 4 November

We are seeking applications for a member of the ESPE Programme Organising Committee (POC). The 3-year appointment will start at the beginning of December 2019. The successful applicant will have a special interest in diabetes mellitus.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the biggest event in ESPE’s calendar, which is attended by around 4,000 paediatric endocrinologists. The main tasks of the POC are to develop the programme of the Annual Meeting, integrating suggestions from the membership, and to participate in the evaluation of submitted abstracts. More info
