CRACK-IT Challenge Preview: Call for Solutions

CRACK-IT is a new initiative by the National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research (NC3Rs) aiming to move towards greater collaboration with industry in the 3Rs through open innovation and problem solving.

CRACK-IT will consist of a web-based research engine for problem solving and idea sharing between small companies, academic researchers and industry, and CRACK-IT Challenges, a competition with financial resources to fund initiatives that address specific business needs and support the 3Rs.

CRACK-IT will launch in central London on 20 September 2011, as part of a meeting open to active research scientists from academia and industry, and those involved in technology transfer, only. More information is available from the link below.
