Applications are invited for a full time consultant post in the department of clinical genetics, which provides a comprehensive clinical and diagnostic service to a population of nearly four million. A consultant with extensive clinical, training/teaching experience in cancer and clinical genetics is sought to join the cancer genetics service.

The cancer genetics service at Guy’s Hospital is growing and developing rapidly. Newly established services include a multidisciplinary clinic and follow up service for BRCA carriers, an integrated in house service for MMR testing, joint genetics clinics with specialists in cancer dermatology, VHL and endocrinology and a network of cancer risk assessment clinics and cancer peripheral clinics across the region. The newly established Integrated Cancer Centre at Guy’s provides exciting opportunities for further clinical and research collaboration.

We are keen to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic candidate who will join an innovative and forward thinking, fully integrated clinical and laboratory service that is based on one site and which benefits from close links to extensive research groups.
