Professor Robert Edwards who has been knighted in this year's Queen's Birthday Honours list.

Professor Steve O’Rahilly who has been elected as a Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Sciences in the USA. Professor O’Rahilly is Professor of Clinical Biochemistry and Medicine, University of Cambridge and Co-Director of the Institute of Metabolic Science and Honorary Consultant Physician at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.

Professor Dominic Withers who has been elected as a Fellow to the Academy of Medical Sciences. Professor Withers FMedSci is Professor of Diabetes and Endocrinology and Honorary Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology at Imperial College London.
