Clinical Update 2012 - registration now open!

11 Jun 2012

The Society for Endocrinology’s Clinical Update training programme provides essential training for trainees and recently appointed consultants in endocrinology and diabetes. This year's event will take place in Stratford-upon-Avon on 5-7 November 2012.

Over a three-year period, the programme covers the national curriculum in endocrinology and diabetes and is indispensable for those preparing to sit the Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians’ Specialty Certificate Examination. Although the 2012 event is the third year in a three-year cycle, attendance at previous years’ meetings is NOT a prerequisite - the preliminary programme for this year’s course is available via the link below.

The call for cases is now open and delegates may submit cases until the deadline of 1 October 2012. In addition to the award of SfE certificates to all delegates who are chosen to present cases in the workshops; this year, the Clinical Endocrinology Trust have generously made available prizes that will be awarded to delegates who delivered the best presentation in each of the eight strands. So, all the more reason to submit an abstract for this year’s meeting.

Online registration is also now open and early discounted registration rates are available until 1 October 2012. If you are not a member of the Society and would like to join to benefit from reduced early bird registration rates, the deadline for completing your Society membership application form is 24 September 2012.

This is a popular training event, but with delegate numbers restricted to 200, it has been oversubscribed in the past and we recommend you register early to avoid being disappointed.
