The BSPED Growth Disorders SIG recently shared the updated ‘Clinical Standards for GH treatment of GH deficiency (GHD) in Childhood and Adolescence’. We have incorporated an important addendum in Section 4 ‘Diagnostics’ to reflect the recently published data endorsing early retesting of the GH axis of patients with isolated GHD and no hypothalamic-pituitary abnormality on MR scanning once they are established in puberty.
