The post involves undertaking a clinical study investigating mechanisms responsible for increased cardio-metabolic disease risk in South Asians. The post is funded by a research grant from the Innovative Medicines Initiative to the University of Glasgow as part of European Medical Information Framework (EMIF). The Fellow will be based at the BHF Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre in the Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Sciences, and will be joining an active metabolic research team within the Institute.
