A Clinical Research Fellowship is available in the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences, School of Clinical and Laboratory Sciences at the University of Manchester.
The salary is £29,585 - £32,510 p.a. You will join an active multi-disciplinary clinical research team; your
commitments will involve recruiting, screening and monitoring
male subjects in a clinical trial of hormonal male contraception as
well as active participation in the largest ever population survey of
endocrine ageing in 3400 men from 8 countries in Europe.
You should have full MRCP or similar basic professional training
in other specialties. Experience in research is desirable but not
essential. You will be trained in research and statistical methods
and should be prepared to be involved in full-time clinical research
leading to a PhD or MD thesis.
This post is available for 12 months in the first instance with a
possible further 24 months extension.
