Based in the University of Edinburgh MRC Centre for Reproductive Health at Little France and clinical sites offering gynaecological consultations in NHS Lothian, this post offers an exciting opportunity for a trainee clinician to contribute to a study that will evaluate a novel intervention for women who complain of heavy menstrual bleeding.
The successful applicant will be part of a multidisciplinary research team (clinicians, methodologists, non-clinical scientists, medical physicists), will be encouraged to register for a higher degree and will be offered training in clinical research methodology along with aspects of the study requiring laboratory evaluations.
The post is open to a clinical trainee in obstetrics and gynaecology with a training number and a minimum of one year of specialty training with eligibility for out of programme experience. The applicant will be expected to register for an MD degree with the University of Edinburgh.
