Clinical Research Fellow in reproductive medicine, early pregnancy & gynaecological ultrasound

Applications are invited for the above post based at NURTURE Fertility (Nottingham University Research and Treatment Unit in Reproduction), which is part of the School of Clinical Sciences and situated within the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust on the Queen's Medical Centre campus.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the research programme of the School, and to pursue personal research leading to the award of a higher research degree. Current research interests include subfertility, gynaecological ultrasound, reproductive surgery, polycystic ovaries, gynaecological endocrinology, and early pregnancy. This particular post will focus on reproductive medicine and assisted conception and involves the provision of the clinical service to the IVF unit. There will be ample opportunity to develop skills in any of the above areas including gynaecological ultrasound and early pregnancy through the research component of the post.

Candidates should be obstetricians/gynaecologists in training and have an interest in reproductive medicine and/or gynaecological ultrasound and early pregnancy. This full time post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of three years or on the completion of an MD/PhD whichever is shorter.
