Applications are invited for a one-year clinical research fellow in pituitary endocrinology post, suitable for a registrar level or senior CMT level doctor. This would suit someone planning to commence training in Diabetes & Endocrinology, taking time out of programme or a post CCT D&E applicant wishing to gain more pituitary and research experience. You should have excellent communication, team and clinical skills and a keen academic interest.

You will play an important role in the delivery of effective care and management of outpatients and inpatients with endocrine disorders, focusing on pituitary disease. You will take part in acute medicine commitments for 6/12 months.

50% are protected research time. Whilst this post is not formally recognised for training, it offers an excellent opportunity to gain skills and experience in endocrinology and diabetes. Active educational support tailored to the individuals’ experience and needs will be provided through an assigned educational supervisor
