To enable scientists, with a medical degree who wish to establish independence in the field of diabetes research, to run a research project of their own. The Fellow will be sponsored by a researcher in the United Kingdom who will offer space and facilities for the duration of the Fellowship. Diabetes UK Clinical Postdoctoral Fellowships are awarded to clinicians with a PhD under the sponsorship of an established researcher. Closing date: 31 October 2007
