Clinical Excellence Awards 2014

The Advisory Committee on Clinical Excellence Awards (ACCEA) has just announced the process for the 2014 round of Clinical Excellence Awards and the deadline for applications is very short – Thursday 14 August.

Clinical Excellence Awards are given to recognise and reward the exceptional contribution of NHS consultants, over and above that normally expected in a job, to the values and goals of the NHS and to patient care.

The Society supports members’ applications for new applications and renewals of Clinical Excellence Awards by providing a citation in support of the Society member. The Society will rank applications and will provide a citation for the top five ranked members in each category.

For those who would like the Society to support their application, please send a copy of your application by Friday 4 July to Julie Cragg ([email protected]).  It would also be helpful if you could let Julie know as soon as possible if you are intending applying for this round.
