The Society for Endocrinology are still waiting for clarification whether there will be a 2013 round of Clinical Excellence Awards. If the 2013 round does proceed then the deadline is likely to be very short. Therefore the Society for Endocrinology like other organisations has decided to proceed in preparation for an award round this year.

Clinical Excellence awards are given to recognise and reward the exceptional contribution of NHS consultants, over and above that normally expected in a job, to the values and goals of the NHS and to patient care.

The Society supports members’ applications for Clinical Excellence Awards by providing feedback on applications and a citation in support of the Society Member.

For those who would like the Society to support their application, please contact Debbie Willis by the deadline of Friday 17 May.
