The Editors of the Society's official clinical journal Clinical Endocrinology appointed its first clinical trainee members to the Editorial board in January 2012. This new venture, which aims to maintain the relevance of the journal for clinicians at all levels of experience, has proved a great success and the Editors now wish to appoint a further trainee to start in January 2014. The Editors are currently working on some new educational resources linked to Journal articles and the new appointee will play a key role in the project.
The Clinical Endocrinology Editorial board holds two meetings annually, one in the autumn and the other during the Society BES conference. The term of office would be for two years in the first instance. Reasonable travel and subsistence expenses for board meetings will be reimbursed.
If you wish to be considered, please contact Professor John Bevan (Clinical Endocrinology Senior Editor) at [email protected]. You should attach a mini-CV (no longer than one A4 side) indicating your present post, stage of training, clinical interests, research experience and previous publications (select up to three). Please describe the skills and contributions you feel you would bring to the Editorial board.
The deadline for applications is 15 November 2013.
