The Career Development Workshop is aimed at members of the Society who are registered for PhDs or MDs, and early-career post-doctoral researchers, with an interest in pursuing a career in clinical academic or basic scientific research in endocrinology. The aims of the workshop are: to foster scientific interactions between trainee members of the Society in a non-threatening environment; to deliver key-note lectures from established endocrine researchers on topical subjects particularly related to career development; and to provide an informal setting to present data and discuss research approaches. The retreat is a fantastic opportunity to present and discuss your work with your peers, participate in group work designed to help your project planning and learn from established endocrine researchers who have experienced the high’s and low’s of a scientific career.
Registration is now open and is FREE to trainee members of SfE but places are limited so don't miss out! The deadline for applying for a free place is 29 July 2012.
