Calling all nurses! Abstract deadline 3 February 2013

Dr Sofia Llahana (UK), Consultant Nurse in Endocrinology, on behalf of the ESE Clinical Committee and the ECE 2013 Programme Organising Committee, has the following message for all nurses with an interest in endocrinology:

Following last year’s success, we are very pleased to announce that there will be another nursing programme during ECE 2013 in Copenhagen (27 April - 1 May 2013). Details of the nursing programme will be regularly updated at the link below. Early bird registration fees for nurses (ESE members and non-members) are once again significantly reduced to just €100 Euros!

We would like to invite nurse colleagues to submit their work for poster presentations during this meeting. The deadline for abstract submission is 3 February 2013. The winner of the prize for the best nursing poster will have all their expenses covered to attend ECE 2014 and be able to present their work in one of the nursing sessions.

We are also looking for speakers and chairs for the nursing sessions of future ECE meetings and would like to invite nurse colleagues' experts in their areas to express their interest by emailing [email protected]. Attendance expenses for speakers at ECE meetings are paid for. We need nurse speakers to cover the following topics during ECE 2013: pre- and post-operative care of the patient undergoing pituitary surgery; pituitary dynamic testing; growth hormone replacement in children; and care and treatment of adults with CAH.
