Call for nominations for Royal Society awards

The Royal Society’s medals, awards and prize lectureships provide an excellent opportunity to celebrate and recognise outstanding scientific achievement. Nominations are invited for the 2012 medals, awards and prize lectureships.

The Michael Faraday Prize is awarded to the scientist or engineer whose expertise in communicating scientific ideas in lay terms is exemplary. For further details, eligibility information and to download the nomination form for this award, please click on the link below.

The Royal Society Kohn Award is for UK-based early-career stage scientists who have undertaken high-quality public engagement activities that have had (or will have) a strategic impact on institutions, organisations and cultures. Anyone is able to nominate a candidate for a Royal Society medal, award or prize lectureship. The closing date for returning completed nomination forms is Monday 6 February 2012.
