British Thyroid Foundation Nurse Award

The British Thyroid Foundation (BTF) is offering up to £1000 to help a nurse, endocrine nurse, midwife or healthcare professional with educational and/or travel costs. The amount may be awarded either as a single award to an individual based on merit for educational purposes of up to £1000, or divided into two travel awards of up to £500 each.

The Evelyn Ashley Smith Award is intended to improve care for patients with thyroid disorders, and can be used to: support training needs including travel costs to attend conferences; support a specific project lasting one year; or reward a piece of work that has already been completed, but not yet published.

All applications will be reviewed by a panel nominated by the Board of Trustees, assisted by a Specialist Endocrine Nurse representative. Applications should be submitted by 1 July 2012. Click on the link below for more information.
