The British Thyroid Foundation (BTF) offers an annual award of £500 to help a nurse, endocrine nurse or midwife in the UK improve care for patients with thyroid disorders. The Evelyn Ashley Smith Award can be used to: support training needs including conference attendance; support a specific project lasting one year; or reward a piece of work that has already been completed, but not yet published.
