Bioscientifica collaborates with Kudos on new pilot

Bioscientifica has become one of six publishers collaborating with Kudos — the award-winning discovery driving service — on a pilot which helps <span>authors add plain language explanations of their articles</span> during submission.

All authors who submit to Journal of Endocrinology will now be able to add a plain language summary of their article via Thomson Reuters’ ScholarOne manuscript system.

The aim is to broaden usage of research, and increase public understanding of science, by enabling articles to be understood by much wider audiences.
