The Institute of Cancer Research is searching for a Bioinformatics Officer to support the work of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Research Centre, which is entirely devoted to breast cancer research. The applicant will provide support for our ongoing molecular profiling and next-generation sequencing projects within the Team, and to build on existing collaborations with other groups internationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the quality assurance, electronic storage and primary analysis of bioinformatics data generated by numerous projects. They are also looking for someone with expertise in Next Generation Sequencing, particularly in respect to whole genome, exome, RNA-seq. and ChIP-seq. and their integration with clinical and other biological data.
