One vacancy – Chair of ESPE Accreditation and Syllabus Committee – deadline 31 December 2014

The ESPE Accreditation and Syllabus Committee aims to harmonise paediatric endocrine training in European countries. Following the approval of the recent revised and updated ESPE Training Programme by EAP, one further step would be the implementation of this training program at a national level and expansion of the program among centres and fellows in each country. Accreditation of centres and certification of fellows will be the ultimate goals.

A Chairperson is sought to take major responsibility for the programme.

This three-year post will start in March 2015 and commitment will include one face-to–face meeting per year, usually at the ESPE annual meeting, work/email communication, and attending EAP Meetings annually as the liaison officer for ESPE.

New vacancy position as Online Learning Committee Chair - deadline 31 December 2014

ESPE is delighted to announce a new Online Learning Committee, to be responsible for the development of ESPE’s online education strategy. The Online Learning Committee will focus on the development of ESPE’s successful e-learning portal as well as other online learning initiatives to help extend the life of the annual meeting and the reach of ESPE’s training and activities to wider audiences.

The new committee will report into the Education & Training Committee and will include a Committee Chair and a minimum of two members. ESPE would like to invite applications for a Chairperson to take responsibility for the committee and drive its programmes and activities forward. The three-year appointment will start in March 2015.
