ATIP – Avenir grants for young scientists

The National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS, France) and The National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm, France) have jointly launched the ATIP – Avenir grant to provide young scientists with the skills to create and lead a research team, and to promote mobility and attract young team leaders of high-level ability to France.

It is open to any young scientists, whatever their present position and nationality, who have defended their PhD (or equivalent doctoral degree) within the last 10 years. Laureates of a grant for early-career researchers similar to the ATIP-Avenir program are not eligible (e.g. “Young investigator”, “Chairs of Excellence”, French National Research Agency (ANR) programmes or “ERC Starting Grant”).
