Added via Nature Jobs. Nature Reviews Endocrinology has a vacancy for a full-time Associate Editor.

You will work closely with the small, in-house journal team, and liaise directly with the Advisory Board and contributors. Key tasks include commissioning and editing for all editorial sections, organizing peer-review, and writing Research Highlights. The job is based in our modern London offices but travel to conferences will be required.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following key attributes: a relevant biological science degree to PhD level or equivalent (preferably in an area relevant to the journal subject matter); a demonstrable ability to edit text for sense, clarity, factual correctness and language; experience that indicates a proactive approach and excellent organizational skills. Training will be provided, but prior editorial experience will be advantageous.
