Article-level metrics now on Bioscientifica journals

Bioscientifica has today announced the addition of Altmetric data to articles published in their journals, providing authors with a more comprehensive overview of how readers engage with their research online.

The Altmetric tool collates mentions and shares of academic research papers across traditional and social media, public policy documents, Wikipedia and post-publication peer-review sites. This information is used to generate an article’s Altmetric score, which authors can use to monitor the impact of their research in academia and beyond.
