AMEND Julia Dunn Fund for Nurses to attend National Endocrine Nursing Conference 2009

17 Jul 2009

The aim of the Julia Dunn Fund is to encourage UK-registered nurses to learn about multiple endocrine neoplasia and/or the endocrine tumours associated with MEN thus enabling them to better understand their patients and thereby enhancing patient care. The Fund, run by the Association for Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Disorders (AMEND), is named after the late MEN1 patient, Julia Dunn and is made possible thanks to the generosity of the Dunn Houghton Charitable Trust.

Registration fees are available for up to 3 nurses to attend the Society for Endocrinology’s National Endocrine Nursing Conference 2009. The conference will take place at the University of Northumbria on 7-9 September 2009, and this year will focus on the Thyroid gland. An application form and further details can be found by clicking on the link below. The closing date for applications is 1 September 2009.
