AISSG Patient/Parent Meeting

The Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome Support Group (AISSG) is holding a summer meeting in London on Saturday 30th June 2007. It is for patients or parents coping with androgen insensitivity syndrome, XY gonadal dysgenesis (Swyer's syndrome), 5-alpha reductase deficiency, leydig cell hypoplasia, Mayer Rokitansky Kuster Hauser syndrome, Mullerian dysgenesis/aplasia, vaginal atresia, or a similar condition. Guest speakers will be Dr Gerard Conway who will explain how XY-female conditions come about and discuss HRT, bone density etc. and Ian Richardson (ex-BBC journalist) who is making a film about his great aunt who had AIS and was a missionary in India in WW1.
