Adrenal tumours associated with increased risk of bone fractures (Alpha Galileo, 25 February 2009)

Men with adrenal incidentalomas that secrete a low excess of cortisol have reduced bone mass and suffer more vertebral bone fractures compared to controls. That's the finding of a study published in Clinical Endocrinology by researchers from the University of Milan, Italy.
