Preparations are well underway for the 9th Joint Meeting of Paediatric Endocrinology, taking place in Milan, Italy on 19-22 September 2013. The meeting will bring together ESPE with the Pediatric Endocrine Society (PES), Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group (APEG), Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society (APPES), Japanese Society for Pediatric Endocrinology (JSPE), and the Sociedade Latino-Americana de Endocrinologia Pediátrica (SLEP).

The theme of the meeting is 'Predictive Medicine to Improve the Care of Children'. The scientific programme will include Plenary Lectures, Symposia, Free Communications, Poster Presentations, New Perspectives, and Meet the Expert Sessions. Details of plenary lectures are now available on the meeting website. Registration and abstract submission will open very soon, with an early bird deadline of 2 May 2013.
