7th Skeletal & 2nd Translational ESE Bone Course

The 7th Skeletal & 2nd Translational ESE Bone Course will take place on 17-18 September 2015 at the University of Brescia, Italy.

The Meeting will offer the opportunity for an exciting exchange of basic and clinical science and will explore novel insights in the involvement of bone in endocrinological disease and its current and future therapies.

The program will feature as invited speakers outstanding scientists from all around the World. The program was put together by a Scientific Committee comprised of J. Bilezikian, J. Bollerslev, E. Canalis, and A. Giustina. The educational objectives of the meeting are:

  • To address the relevance of novel signals to the biology of bone cells.
  • To discuss the hormonal regulation of skeletal function, in particular by vitamin D and pituitary hormones.
  • To discuss the skeletal involvement in endocrinological and metabolic diseases such as diabetes mellitus and primary hyperparathyroidism and its diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
  • To discuss current and future options from the treatment of osteoporosis
