Via www.rdfunding.org.uk. The 3R Research Foundation supports research projects aimed at developing alternative experimental methods to animal experimentation. The 3R Research Foundation invites interested scientists to propose a project which falls within the principal areas for financial support including the following: biological and medical basic and disease-specific research, developing new medicines and toxicological safety testing (methods for testing chemicals, vaccines and environmental pollutants).

The duration of the project proposed should preferably be between 1 and 3 years and the amount applied for should be between Sfr. 50,000 and Sfr. 310,000. The next deadline for applications is 1 September 2011. Please click on the link below for further details.
