3E - Exchange in Endocrinology Expertise – Applications now open

Established by the Section/Board of Endocrinology of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and Novo Nordisk A/S and Novartis, the Exchange in Endocrinology Expertise fellowship program will support candidates for an assignment in a leading centre in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism in Europe. The task will include both clinical practice and research, leading to publication.

ln 2014, the project will pilot up to 6 candidates and the maximum support is €15,000 for up to six months. The selection of the candidates will be performed by a Committee from the UEMS Section/Board of Endocrinology according to well defined criteria of eligibility approved by both organising parties.

Applications are now invited to this prestigious fellowship. For eligibility criteria, a list of recognised centres at which this fellowship can be undertaken, and details on how to apply will shortly be available from the UEMS website homepage (links can be found beneath the map of Europe). The deadline for applications is 15 December 2013.
