Study finds hypertension risk in children at the edge of ‘normal’ BMI

American researchers have found that in children, the risk of developing hypertension in 5 years can be increased by up to 26% by being within the high end of the ‘normal weight’ range for their age. The study is published in JAMA Network Open.
