The 2022 winter issue of The Endocrinologist, the quarterly magazine from the Society for Endocrinology is now available to read online, free.
This issue includes a special feature on the broad and important area of lipids and metabolism, including how they influence and intersect with endocrinological processes and how perturbation can lead to disease.
Highlights include two articles with differing opinions on the utility of ‘browning’ of white adipose tissue as a potential therapeutic target for obesity (see here and here). Plus, revisit SfE BES 2022 with insight into public outreach from Abigail Byford - one of our Public Engagement Grant recipients who provided an inspired activity at our schools outreach event at Harrogate - and an interview with Philipp Scherer, recipient of the 2022 Transatlantic Medal.
You can also read updates on all the latest news from your Society, resources and opportunities and take a look at key dates for 2023 to get in your diary.
